Red Rock Fertility Center

The Red Rock Fertility and Surgery Center was designed to support leading edge treatments while providing patients with a high-end, spa-like experience. The facility itself houses patient treatment rooms, a cleanroom laboratory, and a Class C ambulatory surgery center. Indoor air quality was a primary focus due to the sensitive nature of the fertility process. Highly specialized HVAC systems and hygienic, non-porous materials were incorporated to meet stringent indoor air quality standards. Separated into three distinct functional zones – fertility clinic, laboratory, and surgery suite – this 12,800 square foot project required extensive reprogramming and the addition of a second floor to the existing shell building. The design for the clinic features warm, natural materials, comfortable lounge seating, and a floor to ceiling water feature to create a serene and relaxing environment of care. IZ design studio led a team of specialty surgical and laboratory consultants to successfully meet all project objectives. Housing one of the most advanced Invitro Fertilization [IVF] laboratories in the Southwest, the facility maintains Class 6 Clean Room Certification with zero environmental toxins when sampled by an independent testing agency. Completed in 2016, the Red Rock Fertility and Surgery Center has served as a warm and welcoming beacon of hope for those struggling to conceive.
