Building Information Modeling
While not new, Building Information Modeling [BIM] allows for the creation of a three-dimensional digital model of a building. When used fully, BIM greatly enhances the quality and coordination of construction documents, detecting potential issues before they can impact construction costs or schedules. We build a detailed model of every project, including the structure and MEP systems, using AutoDesk Revit to help minimize construction issues and maximize building quality.
Lidar Scanning
A solid foundation is critical, and an accurate base model is essential to the success of any project involving an existing building. To that end, we utilize advanced lidar scanning to thoroughly document existing interior and exterior building conditions. Once integrated into Revit, the scans generate an accurate and detailed 3D model to serve as the base for the renovation or addition design. Our approach leverages technology to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and value for our clients.
Project Visualization
We understand the challenges our clients encounter when trying to visualize a new or renovated space during design. Using BIM and a range of software, our team produces realistic renderings at each phase so that clients can easily understand the proposed design.
