Library Expansion Evolution
IZ design studio expanded and upgraded the Asotin County Library Downtown Branch, originally designed in 1991, adding a 2,594 square foot second floor in Phase I and currently administering Phase II's interior update for the 13,857 square foot facility.
The 13,857 square foot Asotin County Library Downtown Branch was designed in 1991 by RBFA [now IZ design studio]. With the future growth of the community in mind, the original facility was designed to support the addition of a second-floor mezzanine. IZ design studio completed the expansion of the Asotin County Library with the 2,594 square foot second floor and is currently administrating the Phase II interior update. Phase I included additional book stacks, reading area, periodicals, and youth engagement interaction areas, as well as a new IT room, elevator, and conference room.
