Luxury Spectacle

IZ Design Studio and Locatelli Partners created a bold 1,200 sq ft Philipp Plein boutique in Las Vegas, featuring vibrant elements like bright orange carpet, Panda marble, and a central skull sculpture with 2,000 Swarovski crystals, capturing the brand's maximalist aesthetic.

At just 1,200 square feet, this compact boutique for luxury, global fashion house Philipp Plein packs a visual punch. IZ design studio worked closely with Locatelli Partners, a design firm based in Milan, Italy, and served as the Architect of Record for this retail space. Located inside the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip, this bold design features bright orange carpet, distinctive natural stone, and smoked mirror, as well as custom casework, furniture, and fixtures imported from Italy. The space is organized with shoes and accessories at the front with clothing, fitting rooms, and storage at the rear. Extensive documentation and field by the IZ design studio team facilitated the complex installation of the custom stone and casework which was fabricated in Italy then shipped to site. The boutique is vibrant and irreverent – a true representation of the brand’s ‘more is more’ aesthetic. High contrast, book matched Panda marble serves as the backdrop for the shoe and accessory display walls in the front of the space. Classic Arabescato and dark Marquina marble are used on the floors. Custom inlays, including a water jet cut monogram, add layers of detail. Backlit, stretched fabric with artwork from the Sistine Chapel draws the eye upward to the ceiling plane. Custom display shelving features a scrolling LED light display on the edge profile. A giant skull sculpture inlaid with over 2,000 hand placed Swarovski crystals acts as the centerpiece within the space and is prominently located near the entry.
